ZORICA DIMITRIJEVIĆ, TANJUG Agency

It is very good that the Festival is international, as we have go the opportunity to see an excellent selection. All foreign films that I have seen are interesting and I am simply glad, it is impressive that Belgrade can see that. However, i don't know what has happened that there is no audience. To all the shows that I went to, although I could not manage to go to all of them, meaning the morning, the afternoon and the evening ones, only few spectators came. For example: two evenings ago, an Oscar winning feature-length documentary film was on, and in the theatre there were only about 40 people. I think that the problem lies in the presentation of the programme. It is true that the Festival had the media support, but it looks as if the people had not known that an Oscar winners was on. Maybe the program should be profiled: earlier on, for example, it was known that at 8 o'clock in the evening the main films were on, that Panoramas were in the afternoon and on Sunday there was some kind of review. Now, there are Block 1, Block 2, Block 3, which does not mean a lot to the ordinary people. Not all the people have time to take the Catalogue (here is a praise for the catalogue, it is meaningful, informative, and looks well), to be studied by a wider audience, and then to decide when, in these 3 – 4 days they will come to see what they are interested in. But, there is time for that, as this is only the second time that the Festival is international.
