WHY DO THE FRESHEST FILMS COME FROM THE FACULTY OF DRAMA ARTS?

First of all because in that institution there are the people who, working together, do not assent to the clichés. We have behind us the older generations of the students, lots of films that we do during the year. Presently, I am the third year and so far i have made 7-8 films. When you are constantly busy and when you constantly watch what other are doing, you do not function in clichés, but are sort of wishing to prove something. Maybe we want to break some standards and norms that the professors impose on us. On the other hand those same professors deserve the credit for that as they give us a big freedom. The team of people working with me on a film always “catches” something new. We need to make neither the saccharine stories, nor the comedies, nor the love stories to make someone like our films. As far as the novelty in my films is concerned, it was not easy to “invent” them, as in the times we are living in there are very few new things. It seems to me that the form itself and the structure of my film are new, and there are also some experiments that I let myself take. Of course, I was worried if I was going to succeed. According to the reactions that reach me, I have an impression that I have succeeded.”
