MARCH OF DEATH
The Serbian Army, that won the first allied victory in the First World War, was left alone at the Balkans battlefield in 1995 to fight against three empires at the same time: the Prussian, Austro-Hungarian and Bulgarian. The exhausted army began a horrible march of death not recorded until then. The army, during the terrible winter and fighting all the time, was withdrawing together with the people, through the Albanian mountains and swamps. The allies met them at the Albanian shore and after the long discussions, ill and hungry, the Serbian soldiers were transferred to Corfu .
